Boomerang had the honor of being invited by the NBA and the Atlanta Hawks to present at the 2026 NBA Game Experience Event, standing before leaders from all 30 teams to share how Lost & Found has evolved into one of the most powerful customer experience touchpoints at State Farm Arena.
When a fan loses something, it’s not just an “item.” It’s a phone filled with memories. A wallet tied to identity. A jersey connected to a night they’ll never forget.
That moment—when something is lost—is a defining one. And the Atlanta Hawks decided to ensure that moment is handled the right way, every single time.
Three years ago, the Hawks took a chance before most organizations were ready to. They partnered with a startup: fresh out of stealth mode, with a small team, zero case studies, and no established reputation in the sports world. They became the first NBA team to implement Boomerang.
That decision takes courage and conviction. Great organizations don’t wait for validation. They trust their instincts, and they lead from the front.
The Atlanta Hawks did exactly that. And they gave Boomerang the opportunity to prove what we’re made of.
What started as a bold move by one team quickly became something much bigger. Today, teams across the league are now embracing Boomerang to enhance the fan experience and streamline internal operations when handling found items. Boomerang is proud to partner with organizations across the NBA, including the Orlando Magic, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, LA Clippers, and of course, the Atlanta Hawks.
There are still teams across the league who haven’t joined Boomerang just yet but getting in front of all the teams at the Game Experience Event allowed each organization to see the value of Boomerang, ask questions, and compare and contrast their own venues’ Lost & Found operations. I’m optimistic that more teams will be onboarding soon.

Huge thank you to the people who make it happen every day — Raven Wilcox, Fredrick Ravenell, and the entire all-star team at the Hawks. We’re incredibly proud to be your partner of the Atlanta Hawks and the NBA. Thank you for all that you do.
