We’re excited to announce that Universal Kids Resort Texas is joining Boomerang, continuing our growing partnership with one of the most iconic entertainment brands in the world, Universal Studios.
Currently under construction in Frisco, Texas, just north of Dallas, Universal Kids Resort Texas will be a 32-acre children’s theme park and entertainment resort designed specifically for families with younger children. Scheduled to open in late 2026, the resort will become the sixth Universal Studios resort globally and the third in the United States, bringing immersive storytelling and beloved characters to a new generation of fans.
Boomerang first partnered with Universal more than two years ago, launching at Universal Studios Hollywood. Following strong results and guest satisfaction, the partnership expanded to Universal Orlando Resort, where Boomerang now powers a modern, seamless Lost & Found experience for millions of guests each year.
Today, Boomerang has become a key part of the Universal guest experience technology stack, helping teams across their parks turn lost item moments into opportunities to deliver care, communication, and a magical recovery experience for guests.
That same experience is now coming to Universal’s newest US destination.
Universal Kids Resort Texas represents Universal’s continued expansion into new formats and markets, bringing the studio’s world-class entertainment and storytelling to families in one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States. With millions of guests expected to visit the park once it opens, ensuring every guest touchpoint is thoughtful, modern, and seamless is essential—including what happens when something gets left behind.
“Universal Studios is one of the most respected entertainment brands in the world, and we’re incredibly proud of the partnership we’ve built together,” said Skyler Logsdon, CEO of Boomerang. “To see Boomerang become part of the playbook across existing parks, and now new destinations like Universal Kids Resort Texas, is something that makes me really proud. Our mission is simple: when something gets lost, we help organizations deliver a magical recovery experience. Working alongside a brand like Universal to make that happen is truly special.”
We’re proud to continue supporting Universal’s teams as they expand their parks and elevate guest experiences around the world.
Welcome to the network, Universal Kids Resort Texas!
